The Mobility 1 Division delivers a variety of domestic and overseas production equipment in the automotive field, and it also provides installation and transportation services. In addition, the division is working toward the realization of a low-carbon society through the sale of equipment and materials in the semiconductor-related field, including power semiconductors, LEDs, and MEMS, and in the battery field, mainly lithium-ion batteries for automobiles.
In addition, in the field of ships, the division provides a wide range of production equipment from Japan and overseas to meet the labor-saving and automation needs of shipyards and equipment manufacturers, and proposes a variety of solutions, including the introduction of cutting-edge technologies.

For all type of vehicle production, including EV/HV/PHV/FCV, we have provided the turnkey services of production line for our customers oversea plants.
Related our turnkey services, we have a lot of experience to optimally arrange the global logistics and supporting the tax reduction scheme such as EPA / FTA.
After the plant starts operation, we can provide a long-term production support system for overseas automobile plants by supplying repair parts, maintaining equipment in collaboration with local engineering companies, and modifying equipment in connection with the introduction of new models.

Here at Sojitz Machinery, we sell manufacturing machinery covering all processes, from upstream to downstream, to domestic and overseas manufacturers alike. We also sell semiconductor materials, including Gallium Oxide (Ga2O3) wafers, which is attracting a great deal of attention as a next generation material for power semiconductors. We place particular focus on one overseas manufacturer, Hanmi Semiconductor, Inc. Sojitz Machinery acts as a dealer for this leading Korean semiconductor equipment manufacturer with a very large global market share to sell its products to domestic corporate customers.

The automotive secondary battery market is continuing to expand amid mounting awareness of energy conservation and trend of switching from ICE based vehicle to electric. Sojitz Machinery provides domestic and overseas customers with secondary battery manufacturing equipment for hybrid vehicles (HVs), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHVs), electric vehicles (EVs) and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs). Our engagement in this market dates back to the days when the market was just starting to grow in the mid-1980s. Today, we have accumulated a long track record. Now we deliver equipment to carmakers and battery manufacturers for both overseas and domestic customers. Beside 2nd battery production equipment, we are not proposing solution for the EV/HV/PHV platform.
